While matplotlib 2.1.0 allows in principle to plot categories, it is not possible to add further categories to an existing categorical axes. X1 = Īx1.scatter(x1, y1, color='black', label='Initial Fruits')Īx1.scatter(x2, y2, color='green', label='Further Fruits') From an Axes instance, you can plot your data using the ot and Axes.scatter methods, very similar to what you did through the pyplot interface. The code from the question runs fine in matplotlib 2.1.1 or higher. This is the suggested way to use matplotlib, especially when you need more customisation like in your case. See Chris's response above for a link to. Scatter plots where one axis is categorical. Matplotlib categorical support is a rather new feature in matplotlib 2.1. Scatter plots can be made using any type of cartesian axis, including linear, logarithmic, categorical or date axes. What is going wrong? Is it possible to make three scatter plots in one plot with labels on the x-axis? It also runs when I only run the first scatter plot and disable the second the third. The code runs if I disable the first scatter plot and only run the second and the third. You can use the following basic syntax to add a trendline to a plot in Matplotlib: create scatterplot plt.scatter(x, y) calculate equation for trendline z np.polyfit(x, y, 1) p np.poly1d(z) add trendline to plot plt.plot(x, p (x)) The following examples show how to use this syntax in practice. ( ED- Another note - I often don't have an "S" drive available. I'd put all SQL binaries for all instances on S in most situations, with the folders providing the separation) If I have multiple instances, I won't make 4 of these. S - Instance level files/SQL Server system databases and log files typically (except for TempDB) (note.D - Program files for all apps (including SQL Server). Here is what I tend to do when given an unlimited number of drive letters to play with (at a minimum. But if you do that - at least make sure you take your system database files and potentially your default backup location and move it someplace else. You can put the SQL Server binaries/instance files in the same place you tend to put your other program files. You are protecting yourself from others, basically. You are isolating SQL Server's binaries from other programs and ensuring availability of some of the critical folders like the Logs folder where error logs go - this folder needs to be accessible for SQL Servers start up.This can give you some different options for recovery in the event of a crash on the C drive, it can help keep the OS from causing or receiving space related issues from sharing with other apps. Some People are in favor of keeping their "C" drive dedicated to just the OS and OS binaries. With regards to splitting the instance root there are a couple arguments in favor of doing it. I can understand why having a separate instance binary folder is necessary, but I can't see why it would be useful to put all those binaries on a separate drive.Ĭan anyone tell me why it might be a reasonable thing to do? Or perhaps it just makes no difference at all? To me it just seems terribly untidy. Where normally I would run with something like : C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\ -Base Install & Default Instance Binaries I now have the following : C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\ -Base Installĭ:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MyInstance -Instance Binariesĭ:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MyInstance\MSSQL\DATA -Data FilesĮ:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MyInstance\MSSQL\LOGS -Log Files This means that on what would normally be a relatively clean drive with just folders and database files on it I now have a full installation of the SQL Server binaries as well. I know it's possible to change many of the default paths when installing SQL Server, and generally when I do an install I change the data and log folders to be on separate drives (typically D and E), however I've recently been given a pre-installed machine which is running an instance name other than the default and they've configured the instance root directory to be on the D drive along with the mdf files. It’s easy to cut corners when it comes to explaining their long and storied history, and I’m going to do so because A) it’s extraordinarily convoluted and B) it’s a little boring, and the whole thing is better explained as it’s laid out in This Book Is Broken. To understand how BSS operated in any intimate sense, the Book is essential.Īnd Broken Social Scene were an intimate, complicated group. So This Book Is Broken stands not as some throwaway of an also-ran group, but rather one of the strongest works of modern music journalism, an oral history that mythologized and solidified a band’s origin and rise before they were ever really codified into the canon. What Broken Social Scene did wasn’t necessarily groundbreaking or revolutionary, but they provided a beacon of possibility that a community could sustain itself through music, even in the 21st century. You can see their sense of an insular but inviting community in pretty much every music scene that exists today, from the incestuous feeling of the DIY communities in Brooklyn and Boston to the participatory quality of acts like Los Campesinos! or The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die. When it was published in 2009, it may have felt slightly premature, but a few years down the line, Broken Social Scene’s impact is undeniable. In 2007, Stuart Berman - one of the first to write about BSS in any critical capacity, mainly because he ran in the same Toronto circles as them when they were first starting out - went around and interviewed pretty much anyone who had anything to do with the band or the scene that they inhabited. From the band name on down, Broken Social Scene were destined to lead a fractured, messy existence.įirst off, it’s impossible to write an article about this band without paying tribute to This Book Is Broken, an essential document if you want to know about the band’s formation, trajectory, and initial impact. Broken Social Scene were a collective in the best sense of the word, and the ever-expanding and -contracting nature of the group was built into its foundation. And though Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning would become the axis around which the group eventually spun, there are countless others that contributed to the revered status that the band has today. These bands grew out of - or, really, created - the hotbed that was the late-’90s/early-’00s Toronto music scene, and all of them owe their enduring popularity, at least in part, to the massive force that was Broken Social Scene. Feist, Metric, and Stars are the obvious touchstones - and they all deserve articles like this of their own one day - but even the smaller groups and progenitors of BSS are beyond compare: hHead, Do Make Say Think, Apostle Of Hustle, Cookie Duster, and, of course, KC Accidental. The amount of talent inside and on the periphery of this band is monumental. Has there been a better collective in the past two decades than Broken Social Scene? I really doubt it. The weapons here are guaranteed to be the most solid picks from their archetype for PVP-and in the right hands, they can still make a difference with certain PVP builds. But for now, because of the absolutely miserable state of shotguns, this list of the best PVP shotguns in Destiny 2 has been significantly downsized. This Shotgun can roll with Slideshot and Opening Shot. Luckily, it's very likely that a patch in the coming seasons will reign in SMGs significantly. That holds true with Wastelander M5, a Lightweight Shotgun that gives Riiswalker a run for its money. Shotguns in PVP are not a common sight as of the beginning of the Lightfall expansion, and the main culprit for their weakness is the supremacy of SMGs like the Immortal that make running these close-range weapons incredibly tough, especially in game modes like Competitive and Trials of Osiris. Your eyes saw my unformed body all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made your works are wonderful, I know that full well. “For you created my inmost being you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:16 says, “Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.” King David speaks of God’s incredible love for him ever since he was conceived. So, before God ever formed you in the womb, HE LOVED YOU. This foreknowledge means God loved us before we ever came into existence. Paul also spoke of God’s foreknowledge: “God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did…” Romans 4:17. Jesus spoke of God’s foreknowledge: “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” Matthew 42:36. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise his greatness no one can fathom” Psalm 145:1. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. “I will exalt you, my God the King I will praise your name for ever and ever. Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “Now, I have put my words in your mouth” ( Jeremiah 1:4-9). Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD. “Ah, Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I do not know how to speak I am only a child.” But the LORD said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a child.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. “ The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ”Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Jeremiah 1:5 says, before we existed, he knew us: In the same way I loved my kids, God loves us. The point is I began to love my kids way before they were born! I didn’t wait until the day of their birth to begin to bond with them. Both Chris and I did a lot of dreaming before our kids ever came into existence-we even dreamed what it would be like to take them for a walk in the stroller, teaching them to ride a bike or go fishing. We guessed they would have Chris’s smile and my eyes. When my husband and I began dreaming of our own family, we imagined what it would be like. Each of us whether we were planned, wanted, unplanned, or unwanted by our parents were formed in this fashion. Every time I read the words, “I knit you together,” it stirs up images of God whispering me into existence in my mother’s womb as bone, flesh, sinew, spirit, and soul perform a delicate dance in hushed awe. I believe they are total scam artists, I don't trust them and anybody who asks me about them I will tell them that they are RUBBISH. Well in the 45 days everything supposedly worked. said their policy only refunds after 45 days. I sent email requesting refund as I still had 3 years left. In the end I got fed up of them keep coming on my computer and not working properly. This year got norton update on then kept getting phone calls as firewall didnt register their end still. Again on all day and didnt work properly. Then every couple of weeks I kept getting phone calls that they needed to update as wasn't registering their end. Then last year in 2020 they said they would update by norton for me and firewall and would be about an hour. Everything went right when it went on first. I took out firewall security with Norton security for 5 years and paid £149.95 in 2019. If this was a Zero star I would have put that on. It took me less time to remove actual viruses, I'm not kidding. The whole process of uninstallation took me a bit more than a hour. Imagine how terrible the code of this software should be to behave like this. And I uninstalled many antiviruses in my life. I've never seen a software that completely fails to uninstall itself using its own official uninstaller, until now. At this point I was fed up with this incompetence, so I removed all files manually in safe mode, and thoughtfully cleared registry from all remaining zonealarm garbage. This additional software has equally bad uninstallers, unable to uninstall anything. That's right, zonealarm installer decided that I need additional software without asking me, and then installed it ignoring the installation path I set. The firewall I installed on drive D:, while this software was in Program Files on drive C. I checked where this additional software is. So the uninstaller removed firewall, but not additional software from zonealarm. after finally uninstalling and rebooting PC I checked Task Manager, and spotted 3 processes related to zonealarm. Your only choice it to reinstall the whole thing, disable auto launch, reboot, and then try uninstalling again. you didn't check website before uninstalling? big mistake! - after failed uninstalling you cannot open the firewall to disable auto launch like the website suggests, because the uninstaller deletes files required to open this specific window. That's where the fun starts: - uninstaller doesn't tell you anything. The website says you should manually disable auto launch in firewall settings, reboot pc and then uninstall. During uninstallation it will return you an error about inability to stop firewall and then uninstaller closes. That's when I found out how absolutely, inexcusably terrible zonealarm is. I installed them one by one, tested, then uninstalled. So I decided to compare a few firewalls for my win10, to choose one for my PCs. You have easier time uninstalling a virus than this I can't in all honesty recommend this program to anyone. The program was bad enough by itself but then to find out that my account (and who knows how many others) gets set to auto renew even when you set it for manual. The last rep I spoke with finally dug into my account and saw that I did have it set up for manual renewal but in an area that the customer has no access to it was set to auto. I had to keep telling each rep that I had removed their program from my system so why would I want to pay for another year. After several calls between Paypal and Zone Alarm I did finally get my money back. It was a nightmare dealing with customer service at Zone Alarm. My subscription was not set to auto renew however Zone Alarm did renew and charge my paypal account. About a month before the subscription ran out I uninstalled the program and deleted it. Zone Alarm always said my computer was clean. When my computer started acting funny I ran AVG antivirus (free version I already had) and it found a couple of trojans. Since I had already spent money for a 1 year subscription I continued to use it. I hated this program from day 1 because setting it up wasn't always easy. But some tribes managed to keep hold of at least some areas of their native lands because the landscape was too rugged for settlers. By the end of the century, many tribal members had moved onto reservations. Many Southwest tribes were affected by the California Gold Rush in 1849, when settlers, mining companies, and U.S. Artisans create turquoise and silver jewelry, finely woven baskets, clay pottery with geometric patterns, and colorful blankets. Southwestern tribes are well known for their art and crafts. People also gathered prickly pear cactus and wild berries, and women and children of some tribes like the Havasupai (hah-vah-SOO-py) and Mojave (moh-HAH-vee) helped to hunt, stamping their feet to drive rabbits from their burrows. For instance, the Quechan (kwuht-SAN) people planted crops in narrow valleys that would sometimes be covered in river water, and the Hopi people grew different types of corn to suit the arid climate, including white, red, yellow, blue, and speckled varieties. The American southwest has a dry climate with little rain, so tribes had to be creative to grow crops like beans and squash. Many tribes including the Hopi (HOH-pee) continued this building tradition, creating stone houses that were five stories high. 9, the ancient Pueblo people built hundreds of multistory sandstone buildings in canyons.
